Description
The Marketing curriculum is designed to provide students with the knowledge and the skills necessary for employment and growth in the marketing profession. Marketing professionals identify the strategies and techniques used to attract customers to a business.
Course work may include marketing, accounting, computer applications, business, and general studies. Related skills are developed through the study of communications, computer applications, marketing analytics, critical thinking skills, and ethics.
Graduates should qualify for entry-level marketing in many types of organizations including marketing firms and businesses of all sizes.
This curriculum complies with the standard approved by the State Board of Community Colleges.
Students may be required to take developmental courses in Math and/or English as a result of high school GPA or pre-enrollment placements tests. Therefore, the student may need more than the minimum number of semester hours listed for graduation. Consult a program advisor for more information.
