WLD-214 Sanitary Welding
This course covers the requirements for gas tungsten arc welding (TIG) of austenitic stainless steel tube, pipe, and plate. Topics include correct selection of tungsten, polarity, gas and proper filler rod with emphasis placed on safety, equipment set-up and welding techniques. Upon completion, students should be able to perform TIG welds with various electrodes and filler materials on austenitic stainless steel tube, pipe, and plate. Some online sections may require proctored exams.
