Description

This articulation agreement between Blue Ridge Community College (Blue Ridge) Criminal Justice Technology Program and Mars Hill University (MHU) provides for transfer from the Criminal Justice program at BRCC to the B.S. in Criminal Justice at MHU. Students not completing the general education core at Blue Ridge must complete those requirements at MHU. If 28 or more hours are transferred to MHU the first semester, First-Year Seminar I is not required at MHU. Students must take a minimum of 60 hours at a senior college and a minimum of 32 hours at Mars Hill.

Students may be required to take one or more developmental courses as a result of pre-enrollment placement tests; therefore, the student may need more than the minimum number of semester hours listed for graduation. Students may be required to take developmental courses in Math and/or English as a result of high school GPA or pre-enrollment placement tests. Therefore, the student may need more than the minimum number of semester hours listed for graduation. CE to CU credit is not awarded in this program. Students wishing to apply for CE to CU credit should refer to the standard Criminal Justice Technology program. Consult a program advisor for more information.
